Alberta pharmacists can now diagnose and prescribe for a range of minor health conditions. If you have a UTI, yeast infection, cold sore, or another minor ailment, you do not need to wait for a doctor appointment. Walk in and see us.
Conditions we can assess and prescribe for include urinary tract infections, yeast infections (vaginal candidiasis), cold sores (herpes labialis), bacterial vaginosis, mild-to-moderate acne, allergies and hay fever, acid reflux and heartburn, hemorrhoids, pinworms and threadworms, eczema and dermatitis, mild headaches and migraines, and smoking cessation support.
Walk in or call (780) 443-0202 to book a private consultation. The assessment takes 10 to 20 minutes. The pharmacist will ask about your symptoms and medical history, examine you if needed, and either prescribe a treatment or refer you to a doctor if your situation requires it.
The pharmacist assessment is fully covered by Alberta Health Care for anyone with a valid Alberta Health Number. Medications are billed to your insurance plan.
Everything you tell us is confidential. We have a private consultation room for these conversations.
Walk in Mon 9 to 5, Tue–Fri 9 to 6. Call (780) 443-0202.
