We handle everything directly with your current pharmacy. You need three things: your name, your date of birth, and your current pharmacy's number.
We've streamlined the process so you don't have to deal with your old pharmacy at all. We take care of it.
Give us your full name, date of birth, and the name and phone number of your current pharmacy. That's all we need to get started.
Our pharmacist contacts your current pharmacy directly and arranges the transfer. You don't need to do anything or even call them yourself.
Most transfers are completed same day. Your prescriptions will be ready for pick-up at our Meadowlark location, or we'll deliver them to your door — free of charge.
We've made the process as frictionless as possible. Most patients complete their transfer request in under two minutes — and many do it over the phone while we wait.
You do not need to contact your current pharmacy, request medical records, or fill out any additional paperwork. Canadian pharmacy regulations allow us to initiate transfers on your behalf.

No. Under Canadian pharmacy regulations, we are authorized to contact your current pharmacy on your behalf and request the transfer of your prescriptions. You do not need to call them, notify them, or do any paperwork. Just give us their name and phone number and we take care of the rest.
Controlled substances (such as opioids like hydrocodone or oxycodone, benzodiazepines like lorazepam, and stimulants like Adderall) have stricter regulations and may require a fresh prescription directly from your prescribing physician. In some cases we can initiate a partial transfer, but typically your doctor will need to send a new prescription to Acme Drug Mart directly. We'll walk you through this process — call us at (780) 443-0202 for guidance on controlled substance transfers.
